FREE BEGINNER OLD TIME WORKSHOPS AT UDMD SATURDAY |
Uncle Dave Macon Days offers Beginning Old Time workshops free and open to the public on Saturday. Old Time Buck Dancing, taught by Thomas Maupin. Old Time Banjo, taught by Rebekah Weiler.
These workshops are designed for the very beginner. People who have never, or know very little about old time banjo or old time buck dance. They are being organized with the help of members in the Nashville Old Time String Band Association.
A limited amount of banjos will be available. People should bring their own if possible
Tap shoes are not necessary.
Old Time Banjo will be held in the meeting room in the back of the Antique Car Garage (located behind the old country store) at Cannonsburgh and the Old Time Buck Dance workshop will be in the Gazebo in the center of Cannonsburgh.
Both are Free. Limited to 10-12 participants.
