The 2008 Uncle Dave Macon Days Festival once again welcomes craft-lovers and exhibitors to an annual show of handcrafted art work from Middle Tennessee. The juried Arts and Crafts Exhibition will be shown Friday evening, July 11th, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. On Saturday, July 12th, the exhibition opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 11:00 p.m.

Admission Requirements for the Show:

·All work must be original art work produced by the exhibiting artist. All prints and photographs must be fully executed by the exhibitor. Mass-produced work is prohibited. Manufactured art works or crafts made from commercial molds, kits, or copyrighted designs not owned by the craft artist are unacceptable. All work must be handmade or hand-decorated by the exhibitor.

·Exhibitors are allowed no more than 2 booths, no more than 2 per booth.  Booths measure 10'x10'.  The show goes on rain or shine.  Canopies are recommended to shield against the hot sun. One 110v 20-amp electric outlet is available.  Heavy duty electric cord (100') is suggested to light your booth after dark, or a fan during the day.

Entry fees (see fees in application) includes both location and access to electricity. Fees are deposited only if exhibitors are accepted in the show; fees may be returned if a SASE is provided by an entrant. No fee will be refunded after acceptance into the show.

Schedule-The craft show beings at 4 p.m.-10/11 p.m. on Friday evening. Resumes 9 a.m.-10/11p.m. on Saturday and concludes on Sunday 12 p.m.-4p.m. with gospel singing. You are welcome to stay on Sunday at no additional charge. Please indicate if you will stay on Sunday this will effect your placement.

In order for the Uncle Dave Macon Days Committee to determine eligibility for admission to the Arts and Crafts Exhibition, entrants must submit the following together:

1) Completed application

2) Remit fee by check or money order

3) Photos 1-set:  2 of craft & booth set-up

4) SASE (self-addressed, stamped envelope) large enough to return photos. Failure to include all of the above may prevent an applicant from being chosen to participate.
